If you use AI tools in your practice — for client-facing work — you may be considered a deployer under the Act, and the AI literacy obligation may apply. This course is a documented, structured way to support that requirement.
The EU AI Act requires deployers to disclose certain AI-generated or manipulated content — for example, deepfakes, or text published to inform the public on matters of public interest.
This affects anyone delivering AI-assisted design, copy, research, or imagery to clients in contexts where the transparency obligations apply.
The course covers when and how disclosure looks in practice.

Common Questions
It supports meeting the Article 4 AI literacy requirement by providing documented, structured training.
Completion is evidenced by the Certificate of Participation. However, full compliance is a broader organisational responsibility — this course covers the literacy requirement, not the full regulatory picture. Consult a legal professional for your specific situation.
Do I need to be physically in Germany?No — you can join the session from anywhere. You do need to be tax-resident in Germany and file taxes here. For our tax, VAT, and invoicing compliance, your billing address at checkout must be in Germany.
Do I need a technical background?No. The course is designed for designers, writers, consultants, researchers, and other practitioners — not developers. No coding, no technical infrastructure knowledge required.
I only use ChatGPT occasionally — does this apply to me?If you use AI in any client-facing context — even occasionally — you may be considered a deployer and the Article 4 AI literacy obligation may apply. The course helps you understand the scope of your obligations and document your approach proportionally.
How current is the EU AI Act content?The course is based on the EU AI Act as in force and reflects the 2026 Digital Omnibus’s timeline changes to related provisions (e.g. deferrals for high-risk obligations and Article 50(2) watermarking for legacy systems). The core obligations taught in this course — Article 4 AI literacy and the deployer transparency duties under Article 50(1)/(3)/(4) — are unaffected by the Omnibus and still apply on their original timeline. Course materials are updated before each cohort. However, always verify current obligations with a legal professional.
Will the session be recorded?No. The session is live only. The full slide deck PDF is sent within 24 hours so you have a complete reference without needing to take notes.
Can I get a refund?Full refund if requested more than 7 days before the session. If you can’t attend, your registration transfers to the next monthly cohort. See the Terms & Conditions.
